Due to project demands and growth our client is seeking a Project Manager to join their busy team in Plymouth.
Suitable candidates will have strong an Engineering background which will ideally be from marine, marine civils, construction and/or infrastructure but open to other heavy industries.
You must also be eligible for SC Clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of marine infrastructure projects.
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and external stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Communicating project progress and updates to senior management
- Enhancing client relationships through effective project management and exceptional customer service
- Documenting all aspects of the projects, including progress reports and technical documentation
Job Requirements:
- Experience in project management within engineering
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
- Relevant degree in engineering or a related field
