Site Quality ManagerLong Term Contract!Devonport, PlymouthWe are currently working with a nationally recognised Main contracting business who are in need of additional resource in the form of a Site Quality Manager for a major long term project. You'll be ensuring that the works are performed and executed to the correct specification and within the expected quality and budgetary standards.You will be liaising closely with the project team, client representatives and consultants to agree work parameters, update progress and advise of any issues whilst keeping everyone informed. You'll also carry out the following:
  • Reviewing signed Actions for each work package within the project
  • Organising and communicating with the projects site team any Actions, Document Reviews, and any Interventions.
  • Keeping thorough records and audit trail of all those persons involved in sign off and approval.
  • Ensuring sub-contractors provide all required documentation in advance of delivery to site for materials and for ongoing provision and sign off as work progresses through to completion. 
  • Monitoring work package progress to ensure the whole team is aware of forthcoming quality issues in relation to moving on to next stage.
It is expected you'll be fully experienced in this role or will have had some knowledge of the quality process, compliance requirements and the like. Sound industry awareness of materials, labour, construction methods and legalities is required as is the ability to communicate with a range of people and maintain adequate quality documentation and records for review. In addition, it may be necessary for you to cover the site so previous Management experience plus the usual SMSTS, CSCS and First aid at work. Due to the sensitive nature of the project, you will need to have a full right to work in the UK.In return for your experience and aptitude, is a long term contract opportunity where you'll have the space to be able to make the role your own with the full support and an established team.To register your interest, please call us today!
