Day to Day:

Working with a public sector contractor.  We are looking for an experienced Commercial Administrator or Assist QS to work within a projects team, delivering various planned and reactive work streams in the South West.  Previous experience of working in construction or maintenance would be desirable, or someone studying Quantity Surveying.

  • Understanding around responsive repairs delivery and schedule of rates(SoRs)
  • Dealing with high volume jobs
  • Issuing purchase order numbers
  • Checking subcontractor claims
  • Measuring using SoR's and invoicing

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):

  • Previous construction/ commercial admin experience
  • Experience of planned and reactive contracts.
  • Sector related qualifications, although experience is more important.
  • Excellent general admin experience using Microsoft office programmes, particularly excel.
