Project Quantity Surveyor – PlymouthExciting Opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join a leading national main contractor. This well-established company works across a range of sectors including education, healthcare, sports, leisure, and commercial, with a robust pipeline of multimillion-pound projects.As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful commercial delivery and profitability of a variety of prestigious projects across the region and you will be responsible for pre and post contract duties including cost monitoring and final accounts.Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with a main contractor
  • Experience on design and build projects
  • Demonstrable experience managing multimillion pound projects
Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently managing high-value projects
  • Procuring subcontractors and managing subcontractor relationships
  • Preparing Bills of Quantities
  • Overseeing cash flow management for your allocated projects
  • Attending site meetings and conducting site visits
  • Managing CVRs and providing monthly cost control and reporting
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum HNC or equivalent qualification in construction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong negotiation abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project
  • Relevant driving licence
