Senior Quantity Surveyor

Sphere is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a large property services contractor, Plymouth based but working across Devon & Cornwall.
As the Lead Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee all financial aspects of maintenance and refurbishment projects, progressing tenders for accurate pricing, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities:
- Accurately estimating and determining the quantities of materials, labor, and equipment required for projects.
- Monitor and control project costs throughout the process and identify any deviations.
- Assist in the procurement process by preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Assess the value of work completed by contractors and subcontractors and prepare payments.
- Identify and assess potential risks that may impact cost and schedule.
- Final account preparation, ensure that all costs are accounted for and properly documented.
Key Requirements:
- Full UK Driving License
- Previous Quantity Surveying experience, refurbishment /maintenance advantages
- CSCS Card
- Willing to travel across Devon & Cornwall
On Offer
- Salary Circa 60,000 depending on experience
- Car Allowance
