We are seeking an IT Project Technician for one of our Plymouth based clients. As a key member of the IT services team, the successful candidate will lead on implementing I.T projects both on-site and remotely, as well as providing supporting the desk when required.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and execute IT projects in collaboration with business stakeholders and team members.
  • Own and manage Service Records, ensuring timely updates and stakeholder communication.
  • Maintain and update the Service Knowledge Management System.
  • Prioritise and manage complex Service Records for internal and external clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all IT system users.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies to maintain expertise and support evolving business needs.
  • Manage and administer cloud-based services.
  • Undertake additional IT tasks as required by the Head of IT or other senior team members.

Essential Experience / Qualifications and Attributes Required:

  • Career driven and keen to progress within I.T.
  • Previous experience of working in a busy I.T department.
  • Previous experience working in a customer-facing role.
  • Support knowledge of Windows Server and desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 admin center and Azure Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of how to troubleshoot network issues.
  • Demonstrable analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicative skills.
  • Full clean driving license.

Desirable:

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft System Center.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Services.
  • Degree level qualification or above.
  • ITIL exposure and awareness.

Opportunity: Permanent
Salary: Up to £45k DOE
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07.30am to 16.30 Friday 07.30am to 12.30
