About the Role:

Hyperion Partners are delighted to be recruiting an Interim Property Manager on behalf of a leading student accommodation provider in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property management professional to join a dynamic and supportive team, overseeing the daily operations of a high-quality student residence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the property, managing the on-site team, and delivering an excellent living experience for students. You will act as the primary point of contact for residents, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain high occupancy levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of the student accommodation property.
  • Managing a small on-site team, ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for students and addressing any concerns or queries promptly.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations.
  • Managing property maintenance and liaising with contractors.
  • Handling tenancy agreements, renewals, and occupancy levels.
  • Preparing regular reports for senior management, including financial and operational updates.
  • Responding to any emergency situations or incidents that may arise.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in property management, ideally within student accommodation, residential property, or a related sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to property management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and stakeholders.
  • Organised and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Experience using property management software is desirable.
