Finance Assistant (3 Month FTC)Plymouth, Devon£30,000 - £32,000 per annum

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join their dynamic team on a full-time, 3-month fixed-term contract. This position also offers the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements.

As the Finance Assistant, you will be tasked with providing comprehensive support to the finance department's daily activities.

The responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and updating of the purchase ledger.
  • Regularly review and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure the accurate maintenance and updating of the sales ledger.
  • Collaborate with other members of the team to oversee payment schedules and preparation.
  • Assist Management Accountants with financial tasks and reporting.
  • Credit control & cash flow management.
  • Accurately process and manage employee expense claims.

The candidate:

  • Experienced in supporting financial operations, and a solid background in accounting procedures
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communication, capable of working both collaboratively within a team and independently with initiative.
  • Strong expertise in time management and effective prioritisation of tasks.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
