Our client is recruiting for an English teacher starting in September on Full-time basis. The teacher will be expected to teach English to an exceptionally well-behaved student body.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement literacy intervention programs to support struggling readers and writers.

  • Work closely with classroom teachers to integrate literacy support into the broader curriculum.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies as needed.

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes literacy and learning.

  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure a consistent approach to literacy development.

English teacher experience and qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level in English.

  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e., PGCE).

  • Must provide 2 professional references.

  • An enhanced DBS on update service, or willing to apply a new one.

  • Legal ability to work within the UK.

  • Excellent English grammar and communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills.
