Responsibilities include:
- Encourage students to use their critical thinking skills to solve problems and develop their imagination
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages engagement, self-esteem, and self-efficacy
- Collaborate with parents and other teachers in order to create a learning community that meets the needs of each student
- Cover absences of teaching staff and get involved in executing their lesson plans.
Qualifications:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status
- Must have a passion for teaching students from all backgrounds (i.e., English Language Arts, History, Literature, Science)
- Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
