Fire Alarm Engineer | Devon | Full Time | £30,000 - 35,000, depending on experience

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Design, installation, commissioning & maintenance certification
  • Experience in servicing / remedial works, of those systems
  • Good knowledge of emergency lighting systems
  • Good knowledge and awareness of BS5839, BS5266 and LACORS
  • The ability to work well alone, and as part of the team
  • Excellent communication skills with the whole of the team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A full UK driving licence

What will your role look like?

  • Service, maintenance & installation of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems
  • Liaise with the booking office to fully prepare for the works required
  • Be prepared to respond to reactive works when issued by the office
  • Contributing to the on-call rota
  • Respond to call outs (local Devon & Cornwall area only)
  • Maintain kit, stock levels and conditions
  • Maintain presentation and running of an issued vehicle
  • Being prepared to support the team when required
