Job Title: SEND Support worker - Education based

Salary: Up to £28,883.75

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Term-based

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with young people with Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
  • Provide bespoke education to transition young people back into education or post-16 provision/work.
  • Build resilience and develop inner values in young people.
  • Create and deliver a bespoke curriculum including Functional Skills, AQA awards, PHSE, and project-based learning (support available around this)
  • Collaborate with families, schools, and external agencies to support young people.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience/qualifications in working with young people with ACEs (or an aspiration towards gaining one).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and wellbeing support.
  • Dynamic, resilient, and creative approach to education.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, no weekends
