About the SchoolThis exceptional SEN school provides tailored educational programmes for students with complex needs or EHCPs who may be at risk of requiring residential placements. Many pupils have faced challenges in mainstream or special schools and benefit from a personalised wrap-around educational experience.
Students receive high levels of support, including one-to-one assistance and bespoke timetables. The school offers thematic and engaging learning experiences in and out of the classroom to build resilience and foster significant academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualised guidance and support to students as a Learning Mentor.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to create comprehensive support plans.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive environment that enhances students’ social and communication skills.
- Assist with daily academic tasks and implement interventions to promote positive behaviour outcomes.
- Support students in overcoming challenges and building their confidence and resilience.
- A valid UK Driving Licence and access to a car.
- Willingness to use your car for business purposes with appropriate business insurance.
- Availability for immediate, full-time work during term time.
- Strong communication skills with a patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
