Primary SEN TA – Plymouth (Full-Time, Drivers Only)

Location: Plymouth
Salary: £83.33 per day
Start Date: Immediate

 

You will work closely with SEN teachers to deliver tailored educational plans that foster both academic and social progress for students with additional needs. The role may involve 1:1 support, group interventions, and assisting in the implementation of individualised learning strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and group support to students with SEN.
  • Implement and follow tailored learning plans to meet each student's unique needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and SEN coordinators to ensure positive student outcomes.
  • Assist in behaviour management and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Travel between school locations as required (driving essential).

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car for work purposes.
  • Ability to work full-time (Monday to Friday).
  • Previous experience working with SEN children (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A caring and patient attitude, with a passion for supporting students with SEN.
