The Production Technician is responsible for all technical and processing activities, including operating machinery, equipment maintenance, and fault finding.
Key Responsibilities
- Covering breaks, operating production machinery, assembling products, and handling pallet release duties.
- Performing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and refurbishing offline machinery.
- Diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical faults.
- Ensuring all manufacturing equipment is set up to meet production standards.
- Monitoring in-process quality and resolving issues to prevent product holds.
- Minimising downtime while staying within planned repair and spare costs.
About You
- Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering (e.g., C&G, HND) or completed a time-served apprenticeship.
- Experience in a high-volume, highly automated manufacturing environment.
- Skilled in maintenance and fault finding.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A team player with a passion for healthcare.
