Job Role:


Reporting to the head of clinical services, you will provide leadership for Care staff and support the development and delivery of care for Clients with complex health and social care needs.

Main Tasks to include but not limited to:

  • Adhere to and uphold the NMC Professional Code of Conduct
  • Clinically oversee the day to day running of the packages of care.
  • Provide specialist training to new and exiting staff
  • Attend Client reviews as part of a multidisciplinary team and advocate for the Client
  • Review and amend care plans and emergency procedures as required.
  • Complete monthly clinical visits
  • Liaise with GPs and other health professionals to ensure that Clients receive the medical and clinical support they require
  • Monitor delivery of care, including infection prevention and control procedures, e.g. wound care, catheter management; and ensure high standards are maintained
  • Provide support in relation to medicines management and be able to assess staff competency to manage medication.
