RGB Recruitment is seeking Estimators with experience in the building maintenance industry for a permanent position.
The role involves maintaining client relationships and preparing tenders and quotations, requiring previous similar experience.
Candidates should ideally have knowledge of project management and strong interpersonal skills, along with a full clean driving license.
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £50,000, depending on experience.
Applicants should have a proven track record in estimating and be numerate, with the ability to solve problems independently.

Estimator – PlymouthRGB Recruitment are wishing to speak with Estimators experienced in the building maintenance industry to join one of our contractors on a permanent basis. As a customer-focused individual, you will play a key role in maintaining relationships with existing clients and establishing connections with potential clients. You will ideally have previous experience within a similar role and a sound knowledge in the preparation and submission of tenders and quotations! An understanding of project management and/or experience in other areas of project controls is desirable.Responsibilities:

Liaise with clients, consultants, quantity surveyors, and other third parties
Actively monitor tender portals for relevant projects and establish contact
Review and evaluate all tender enquiries for completeness and accuracy
Administrate correspondence and tender documentation throughout the supply chain
Organise and attend site visits with suppliers and subcontractors
Obtain pricing in a timely manner to meet with submission deadlines
Review and evaluate all project costs and provide a complete price submission
Assess the levels of business risk on each project
Compile and provide detailed handover information for all successful bids to the Operations team
Monitor the various stages of all successful bids to ensure costs are kept in line with the forecast

Requirements:

Highly numerate, uses initiative and solves problems independently
Proven track record of estimating in building maintenance worksExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal English
Full clean driving licence is required, and a DBS will be conducted
Computer literacy skills and the ability to adapt to using company customer relationship management systems
