My client is seeking a skilled EDM Machine Setter / Tool Maker to join their dedicated manufacturing team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in precision engineering, specifically experienced in Spark and Wire erosion processes. Day-to-day of the role:• Program, set, and operate EDM machinery to produce high-quality precision components.• Utilise both Spark and Wire erosion techniques to meet production specifications.• Ensure all components are crafted according to precise engineering principles.• Collaborate with the team to optimize production processes and maintain equipment.• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with industry standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:• Time-served or experienced in producing precision components using EDM technologies.• Background in tool making or CNC machining is highly beneficial.• Strong understanding of engineering principles related to EDM processes.• Ability to work flexibly, including alternating shifts or unsociable hours, to support production schedules.• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.

Working Hours:• Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.• Late Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM (25% shift premium).
