An opportunity for a Senior Planner to join a technically challenging project involving complex RC structures in Plymouth. My client is a tier one contractor delivering a 3-year project within Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a client that has a 9-year pipeline of work in the wider area of Plymouth. As part of the project management team, you will develop and update programmes, and provide monthly planning updates, as well as support the bid team in developing tender programmes. This position offers excellent prospects for the future management of a small team of locally based Planners.
As Devonport is a Royal Navy Dockyard, we can only accept applications from UK or NATO country nationals.
As Planner you will:
- Develop programmes from beginning to end using P6 or Microsoft Projects
- Have experience with first principles planning in a Civil Engineering or Construction environment
- Assist the tender team in developing project programmes
Our client requires a Planner with:
- Previous experience of working for Civil Engineering or Construction contractors.
- In-depth knowledge of P6 or MS Projects
- Sole planning responsibility experience
- A valid UK driving license.
Salary/Benefits:
- 70,000 - 80,000 per annum
- Up to 10% bonus (project/company performance dependent)
- Benefits package including 5,400 car allowance, company pension, paid annual leave etc.
