We are seeking a proactive I.T Services Technician to join a fast-paced incident team in Plymouth on a permanent basis. In this role, you will provide Service Desk IT support across multiple sites, handling service requests both locally and remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide responsive IT support via multiple communication channels.
- Take full ownership of Service Records, ensuring stakeholders are informed of updates and actions.
- Maintain accurate records in the Incident Management System.
- Escalate complex or high-priority issues to internal or external teams.
- Act as a key point of contact for IT system users and external partners.
- Stay updated on new technologies to maintain expertise and provide effective support.
- Assist with additional IT-related tasks as assigned by senior staff.
Essential Experience / Qualifications and Candidate Attributes Required:
- At least 1 year of IT support experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Familiar with troubleshooting Windows operating systems (10, 11, Server 2012 and newer)
- Basic understanding of network infrastructure issues (WAN, LAN, etc.)
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles
- Strong analytical skills for problem resolution
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Holder of a full, clean driving license
The successful candidate will be working Monday to Thursday 07:30am to 4:30pm, 12.30pm finish on Friday’s.
