I am excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic Logistics Administrator to join my clients team at their Head Office in Plymouth. As part of their expansion plans and ongoing success, this role is crucial in supporting the logistics operations and ensuring efficient day-to-day management.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Input and update data accurately across various systems.
  • Place and manage supplier orders efficiently.
  • Communicate with suppliers to gather and verify necessary information.
  • Review supplier performance regularly and report any issues to the Logistics Team Leader.
  • Develop and maintain effective ordering schedules.
  • Assist the team with managing overflow workloads.
  • Analyse daily reports and take appropriate actions based on findings.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and phone calls.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Logical thinking ability.
  • Experience in an analytical, data-driven role is desirable.
  • Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
