We are currently looking for a full-time permanent Warehouse Operative to come and join us at our site in Plymouth on behalf of our customer, Virgin Media.  You will be working Monday – Friday, 07:00 -16:00 which will be your permanent hours. Please be advised you will be required to provide 24/7 on call cover on a rotating basis and working as a drivers mate as part of the role.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Ensuring that products are processed and handled correctly throughout the warehouse
  • Operating Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and carry out assigned computer-based
  • Responding to customer queries and requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Carrying van driving duties when requested
  • Undertaking special projects, providing statistics, and reports as required

What you need to succeed at GXO

  • You are ideally computer literate and know how to work your way around systems (or a quick learner!)
  • Customer service skills are essential
  • You may be someone with a Warehouse background who has dealt with systems rather than being paper based
  • Category B driving license is a must
