Mould Repair Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mould Repair Technician to join a team in Plymouth, where you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing moulding equipment, ensuring smooth production operations and minimal downtime.
The Role: As a Mould Repair Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Repairing and maintaining injection moulding tools using in-house facilities.
- Providing engineering support to production teams.
- Following safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the toolroom.
- Keeping accurate records of spare parts to ensure stock levels are maintained.
About You: We are seeking a Mould Repair Technician who has:
- Completed an apprenticeship or equivalent in maintenance engineering.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience with hot runner injection moulding (advantageous but not essential).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
- Great communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Working Hours: This is a shift-based role, 3 on, 3 off, from 07:00 to 19:00 with a 20% shift allowance.
