Horticultural Nursery Workers

The Recruitment Co. is looking for horticultural nursery workers to join Country Herbs & Plants, in Spalding, Lincolnshire! You will join our friendly team at the nursery, we cultivate premium plants and herbs and need passionate individuals to help us maintain their health and quality.

Job Description:
As a horticultural nursery worker, you'll play a vital role in keeping the nursery running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Lifting, bending, carrying plant trays and pulling trolleys.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the nursery areas.
• Any other jobs around the busy nursery as required.

Skills:

• Physically fit individual.
• Ability to perform lifting and bending safely and efficiently.
• Proactive attitude and ability to follow instructions from the nursery manager.
• Basic maths skills.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous horticulture or nursery experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plant care and attention to detail.
• Physically fit and capable of working in all weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Passion for plants and contributing to the success of our company.

Shifts available:
Full-time:

• Monday to Thursday - 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Friday - 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM

School hours:

• Monday to Friday - 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Please note that due to the nature of the business, start and finish times may vary slightly.

Pay rate:

• 11.60 per hour Monday to Friday
• 13.60 per hour Weekends & Bank holidays (Overtime)
• Overtime available (optional)

All training will be provided for this role.
