The Role:

As an Enablement Coach you will provide specialised support and coaching to a wide range of neurodiverse individuals in the workplace.

The role requires a coach that has experience in various areas such as attention deficit disorder (ADHD), autism, menopause, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dyspraxia. Please note, this list is not exhaustive.

As a coach you will work with individuals to enable them to achieve their goals and objectives in the workplace based on their unique strengths and challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with individuals, line managers and organisations to provide one to one coaching on work strategies
  • Support individuals exploring and identifying their unique profiles and providing expert knowledge, understanding and strategies for them to optimise their working practices
  • Offer and provide coaching and strategies around self-confidence, time management, planning, and prioritising, regulating emotions, attention, and focus, working memory, communication skills and adapting to change


What you'll bring:

  • Empathy, respect and understanding of neurodivergent individuals
  • Excellent communication skills verbal, written, active listening, ability to simplify and demonstrate effectively
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Problem solver Ability to create practical solutions to challenges in the workplace
  • Supportive and flexible approach to working with people
  • Collaborative approach experience of working with various stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients

Education and Experience:
  • Experience in a similar role providing coaching in the workplace
  • Experience in delivering coaching on key areas including time management, memory, focus, organisation, and change
  • Extensive knowledge of neurodiverse conditions e.g. ADHD, autism, dyslexia etc.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation such as the Equality Act
  • Good knowledge of common Assistive Technology software including Read & Write, Dragon, and Mindview.
  • Member of the Association of Coaching (MAC) or similar
  • Accreditation and qualification in relevant coaching such as ICF, ACC, EMCC or PCC
Location:
This role is a home based role. Initial training may be required to take place online, at our Head Office in Berwick (East Sussex) or other locations around the county. Once your training has been completed, you will predominantly be based from home, however, there are activities including an annual conference and meetings that you will need to attend in-person with advance notice.
