The company:

One of the UK's largest developers delivering schemes between 70-1500 units for the private market and housing associations.

The role:

As an Assistant Site Manager you will be working alongside another Assistant Site Manager and be responsible for delivering internal works packages from 1st fix through to finals on a phase of circa 70 plots (the development is built across multiple phases and has outline planning for 420 units) which are a combination of private sale and housing association units. Your duties will include:

  • Management and coordination of subcontractors.
  • Ensuring plots are ready for key stage NHBC inspections.
  • Site safety which will include but not be limited to running daily inductions, checking contractor RAMS, performing site inspections and issuing permits to work.
  • Liaising with the Housing Association's Clerk of Works and the NHBC
  • Attending contractor review meetings.
  • Updating the Project Manager on progress.
  • Ordering for the project.

To be successful in this role:

  • At least 1-2 years previous experience in a Supervisory or Management or similar role.
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Card
  • First Aid
