Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot various equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Engineer will also play a crucial role in supervising junior staff and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including logic controllers.
  • Weld components as necessary to maintain equipment integrity.
  • Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from various departments.
  • Assist in the training of new employees on maintenance procedures and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role, with strong mechanical knowledge.
  • Proficiency in electrical systems, including the ability to work with logic controllers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
  • Strong leadership abilities, capable of supervising a team effectively.
  • Good command of English, both written and verbal, for clear communication with team members and other departments.
  • Previous experience in customer service is advantageous, ensuring a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative in all tasks undertaken.
