Senior Accountant - Pontefract - Manufacturing - Up to £55,000 +Bonus
Imagine joining a business with a proven track record of developing and progressing staff. The current FC joined the business 10 years ago as an Accounts Assistant. They're now looking for someone to support her due to their continued growth with a clear progression plan to become an FC of the future.
You'll be joining a small and dedicated central finance function focused on the technical accounting aspects. This role will be managing a team of 3 who will support you in producing month end accounts. You'll be getting involved in tax and audit responsibilities along with managing the payroll.
Due to the continued growth of the business, you'll also be able to get involved in some commercial value add projects such as budgeting and forecasting. These are fairly new aspects for the business so it's a great opportunity to be able to come in and look at processes and make improvements.
