About the Role

We are partnering with a leading and well-renowned FMCG organisation who are searching for an experienced Site Finance Controller to join their team at their dynamic and easily accessible manufacturing site in West Yorkshire. This is a key strategic position within the leadership team, overseeing financial operations for a site with a large team and a substantial turnover. The successful candidate will ensure financial accuracy, lead site budgeting and forecasting, and drive operational improvements.

Key Objectives:

  • Collaboration with site leadership to set and track goals in alignment with broader company objectives.
  • Preparation and delivery of weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports and KPIs across various departments.
  • Budget management governance and team collaboration on site, fostering best practices in operations.
  • Play a pivotal role in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for all aspects of the site, including production costs and logistics.
  • Manage site accruals, prepayments, and inventory reconciliations, supporting annual audits and ensuring compliance.
  • Approve capital projects and manage assets, from acquisitions to disposals.
  • Perform costings for new products and assist with pricing strategies.
  • Business partnering with cross-functional teams to improve site processes, reduce costs, and drive financial performance.
  • Support change programs, including new product launches and capital installations.

Qualifications

  • Fully Qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CA
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting in a similar finance role
  • Expertise in forecasting, budgeting, and ERP systems
  • Strong understanding of BOMs, variance analysis, and cost management
