Pyramid8 are supporting an interesting fact growing organisation to recruit a Finance Assistant.

The Finance Assistant role is an ever-evolving role, and they are looking for an ambitious individual to work across the finance function of the group of companies to help constantly improve their processes and add value to the wider business.

It is a hands-on role with scope to develop, working alongside and supporting the Assistant Management Accountant and Financial Controller.

This key support role involves taking responsibility for:

  • Processing and managing of sales and expenditure, across multiple revenue streams and companies
  • Preparation and distribution of monthly project revenue and expenditure reporting
  • Regular review meetings with budget holders to monitor costs and advise on performance and project cashflow
  • Intercompany movement and monthly reconciliation
  • Support in month end procedures
  • Keeping financial systems and records accurately up to date

What we expect from you:

  • Studying towards an accountancy qualification, with experience working as an accounts/finance assistant
  • Ability to work with stakeholder at all levels and confidently challenge assumptions
  • Excellent organisational and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Enjoy working within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
  • Experience in Sage Line 50, Xero
