Class 1 Driver

M4 Specialist are recruitingClass 1 Driversto work at Superdrug & Savers Distribution Centre in South Elmsall.

Ideally we require 1+ years of experience with Class 1 Driving.

As an ambassador of the Superdrug brand, you must deliver a professional service at all times.

The Depot operates 24 hours a day; 7 days a week so there are various start times available to suit a variety of personal requirements.

Responsibilities of a Class 1 driver:

• 2 man team multi drop, delivering cages and totes to Superdrug stores across the UK alongside a drivers mate who will assist you
• Occasional trunking work may also be available

Hours for a Class 1 driver:

• Varies Monday to Saturday
• Shift start times vary
• Shifts average 10 hours
• Temporary ongoing

Pay rates for a Class 1 driver:

• £17.00Days
• £20.00 Nights
• £21.00 Saturday
• £22.00 Sunday/Bank holiday
• £22.00 Overtime
• PAYE role only
• Weekly pay

Requirements for the role of a Class 1 driver:

• Be aged 25 or over
• Hold a valid UK Class One licence
• Have valid CPC and Digi Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence, only SP offences can be accepted
• No previous disqualifications on your licence
• You will be required to complete a driving assessment and induction before you start, this is a paid assessment /induction and will be paid only once assignment started.

2024 Seasonal Retention Bonus Drivers & Drivers Mates

For every hour you work, you will accrue an additional £1 per hour from 1st November 2024 until 30th November 2024. This will be paid on Friday 27th December 2024.
From 1st December 2024 to 31st December 2024, you will accrue an additional £2 per hour for every hour you work. This will be paid on Friday 24th January 2025.
Bonus payments are discretional and will be made on the condition that you attend all of your allocated shifts and remain continuously available for assignments at Superdrug throughout the Bonus Reference Period.
