Class 1 Driver Tramping

Full Job Description:

M4 Specialist are currently seeking reliable and experiencedClass 1 Tramper Driversfor our client based inPontefract. You will have an Induction on the first day and tramping can be anywhere in the UK and will be Monday to Friday. This is temporary ongoing work, working for a local logistics companywith a great working environment.

Shifts for the role of a Class 1 Tramper Driver:

• Monday to Friday ideally, however, the client is willing to look at alternative shifts to support the driver (i.e. 4 on 4 off)

Duties of a Class 1 Tramper Driverwill include:

• Safe and efficient movement of goods and safe delivery
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Ensure all policies are adhered to
• Excellent understanding of driving hours and manual entries
• Passionate about delivering great customer service
• Maintain a professional image when driving a company vehicle

Requirements for the role of a Class 1 Tramper Driver:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence essential
• Up to date Digitacho and CPC
• Attitude is the most essential criteria, a team player & hardworking.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Full UK driving license is essential
• Minimum 1 years experience on Class 1 vehicle & no more than 6 points

The Benefits of working as a Class 1 Tramper Driver:

• £14.00ph PAYE
• £22.00 Night Out
• Possible overtime available
• Potential earnings based on an average of 50hrs per week are £700 before TAX & NI (this does not include nights out)
