The Role of a Business Development Executive:

As the new Business Development Executive, you'll manage and grow a valuable portfolio of accounts in the furniture and manufacturing sectors. This is a key revenue-generating position within their close-knit, supportive team. Whilst your main focus will be bringing on new clients, you will then manage any accounts that you successfully win and the role will be a balance of Business Development and Account Management.

Key Responsibilities of a Business Development Executive:

  • Drive revenue growth through new business development and existing account management
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through targeted prospecting
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive account management
  • Provide expert consultative solutions for clients' packaging requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment
  • Maintain detailed client records and sales forecasts

Your Profile & Experience:

  • Proven B2B sales experience, open to a range of experience from 2 years+ in sales.
  • Proactive self-starter with a hunter mindset
  • Strong commercial acumen with a consultative sales approach
  • Excellence in relationship building and account management
  • Not afraid to pick up the phone but also use a multifaceted approach to sales and winning new business
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience with CRM systems and MS Office suite
  • Experience in packaging, manufacturing, or related industries is an added bonus. But we welcome strong applicants from any industry.
