Our client are seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of solar energy systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and efficiency. The candidate will ideally be a fully qualified electrician but unqualified applicants will be considered as long as they have experience in this field.Responsibilities• Install solar panels on residential properties, ensuring proper alignment and secure attachment.• Conduct site assessments to determine the best placement for solar installations.• Use hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks, including digging and welding as necessary.• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on installed solar systems to ensure optimal performance.• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during installation processes.• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.Requirements• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to installation tasks.• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand and troubleshoot electrical systems (preferred but not essential)• Experience in digging trenches for wiring or other installations is preferred.• Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies in the solar industry.If you are passionate about renewable energy and have the skills required for this role, we encourage you to apply and contribute to a sustainable future through solar energy solutions.Salary range from £25000 - £45000 (Depending on Experience)
