We are recruiting a Machine Operative, to join our Bondgate (WF8) site. We are a global independent soft drinks manufacturer with 78 manufacturing sites worldwide including 6 sites in the UK.
  • £27,315.04pa (Basic £25,385.72pa + shift allowance £1,929.32pa)
  • £12.50ph (Basic £11.62ph + shift allowance £0.88p)
  • £18.76ph Overtime rates after 42 hours worked
  • 3 on 3 off Shift pattern – Rotating Days and Nights – 07:00 to 19:00 & 19:00 to 07:00
  • 22 days holiday (264 hours over the year)

As a Machine Operative, you will join the production team where you will be working on a production line and overseeing our beverage packing machine.  Reporting to the Production Manager you will work as a team to fulfil the day-to-day production targets.Full training will be provided for our Machine Operative to enable you to work on our packing machine which is the final stage before products are shipped to customer. You will identify any machine concerns and liaise with the engineer team on more complex situations. Machine Operative:  Key responsibilities:
  • Operating equipment/machinery and undertaking fault finding, changeovers including CIP where relevant, asset care, and basic machine maintenance activities.
  • Management of Raw Materials in accordance with FIFO and Storage Procedures.
  • Reporting any non-conformances to Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and supporting corrective action activities.
  • Working as a key member of a production team, demonstrating Company Values and flexibility to support other teams/departments where required.
  • Ability to meet team performance targets and required Company Standards.
  • Participating in traceability exercises, product trials, and site audits/visits
  • Supporting the delivery of key performance indicators for the Factory linked to Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, and Cost Standards
  • Demonstrating a willingness to develop within the role to achieve Excellent Competency Levels
