This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to support and assist with leading the financial operations of a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in line with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage cash flow, ensuring the company has sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Take charge of the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with senior leadership to align financial plans with business objectives.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide insights to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement robust financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy across all financial operations.
  • Ensure the preparation and submission of statutory accounts in compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Continuously review and improve financial processes, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Contribute to business strategy by offering financial insights to support decision-making at senior levels.

Key Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified would be desirable or close to being qualified
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
