Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a well-established company in Pontrefract to recruit a skilled Packaging Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
Salary: Up to £42,000 (dependent on experience)Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm (with overtime opportunities available on weekends)
As part of the engineering team, the Packaging Maintenance Engineer will report to the Engineering Team Leader and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of technical functions, while adhering to the company’s quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure machines are fully operational.
- Carry out changeovers as needed.
- Continuously identify and implement improvements to machine performance.
- Support and contribute to the training and development of colleagues.
We are looking for Packaging Maintenance Engineers with the following qualifications and experience:
- A relevant technical qualification in engineering (apprentice-trained preferred).
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a food or FMCG environment.
- Hands-on experience with packaging machinery in an FMCG setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead others.
