Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a building products manufacturer based in Pontefract to recruit a Manufacturing Operations Manager.
Salary: Up to £50,000
Hours: Monday to Friday - day shift only
Our client is an innovative market leader in their field who are committed to sustainability and excellence in customer satisfaction. They are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Operations Management professional to drive success and lead their production team.
As the Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring operational excellence and optimal efficiency. You’ll be responsible for leading a talented team, managing budgets, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties of the Manufacturing Operations Manager will include:
- Operational budget management, including labour, equipment and materials
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of supervisors and production staff across multiple functions
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and promote a continuous improvement mindset in all your team
- Ensure the focus is on efficient production processes and a high quality accurate output
- Promote a right first time mentality
- Continuously promote and monitor Health & Safety
We would like to speak with Manufacturing Operations Managers with the following skills / experience:
- Experience in operations management within the manufacturing or construction industry
- Strong leadership experience and able to manage across multiple functions
- In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with proven budget management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
