Production Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading building products manufacturer based in Pontefract to recruit a Production Manager.

Our client is a family run business that is looking for a Production Manager, with proven leadership experience to take responsibility for their Timber and PVC factories.

Responsibilities of the Production Manager will include:

• Plan and control factory workload and workforce to ensure maximum efficiency
• Ensure Health and Safety procedures are adhered to at all times
• Responsible for a multi skilled flexible workforce
• Oversee and audit the quality of all products
• Manage and motivate a team of operatives
• Create and review standard operating procedures
• Plan work and material requirements to meet production needs

We are keen to speak with Production Managers with the following:

• Previous management experience within a Timber or PVC manufacturing environment 
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and able to motivate and direct a team
• Must be highly organised and able to prioritise workloads
• Good I.T. skills
