Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and their parents or carers.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
- Maintain open communication with parents and carers regarding student progress.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities to enrich the educational experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Year 2 or a similar age group.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
