Metalis are currently working with an established manufacturing company who specialize in bespoke equipment. Our client is looking to add a Purchaser / Buyer to their team in South Kirby.
The role will be essential to help support the engineering team by taking on the responsibility of purchasing material and goods, with the aim of building relationships with suppliers.
The Role:
- Working with the purchasing team
- Building relationships with suppliers
- Collaborating with various teams
- Following all policies and procedures
- Checking and maintaining stock levels
- Raising purchase orders
- Monitoring all quality and noncompliance issues.
The Person:
- Purchasing/procurement/buying experience
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
- Good organizational and planning skills
