At Route One we provide the end-to-end solution for bridge deck maintenance and protection from supply and installation of bridge expansion joints and bridge deck waterproofing membranes to concrete repairs and structural protection systems.
We are looking for an experienced Foreman to join our team.
The foreman needs to be already skilled in the installation of Waterproofing / Joints and competent with GCP products
Reporting directly to the Supervisor, this role involves the management of allocated schemes and operatives
Note that this job will require the role holder to work away and work nights on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management and be responsible on-site for the workforce, plant, materials, Suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Manage and be responsible for the on-site HSEQ performance in line with company and customer policy.
- Lead a team to install products as per installation guidelines.
- Log and report any deviations from the product installation guidelines.
- Completion of the Real time Electronic site file in line with company policy and IMS and ensure compliance.
- Responsible for on-site communications in relation to contracts you are working on i.e. customer, supplier and sub-contractors.
- Assist with operations, training and competency.
- Assist with planning / phasing and programming of contracts.
- Send after shift reports
Qualifications/Experience
- Management and supervising experience
- Possession of CSCS card
- Valid driving license
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage a team effectively
- SSSTS (Desirable)
