Our client, a distinguished entity in the water sector, is currently seeking a Civil Site Manager to oversee wastewater infrastructure projects on Yorkshire Water.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, and resources, ensuring adherence to project schedules and health and safety regulations.
- Oversee site logistics, quality control, and the management of environmental considerations.
- Coordinate and communicate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all works comply with project specifications, standards, and contractual requirements.
- Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues promptly.
- Ensure site documentation is accurate and up to date, including site diaries and reports.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Civil Site Manager on wastewater infrastructure projects (pipelines, pumping stations, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, particularly in wastewater systems.
- Ability to manage site safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Valid CSCS card (preferably Site Manager level) and SMSTS certification.
