Key Responsibilities:

Learning Support:Work closely with teachers to create an engaging and positive learning environment.

Personalised Assistance:Provide targeted support in small groups or one-on-one, tailored to each student's sensory and communication needs.

Build Supportive Relationships:Establish trust with students, ensuring they feel safe, included, and valued.

Encourage Positive Behaviour:Use innovative strategies to foster positive behaviour, adapting your approach to each student's needs.

Personal Care Support:Assist students with personal care when needed, always respecting their dignity and privacy.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with SEN students (paid or voluntary).
  • A Level 2 or higher qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (preferred but not essential).
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C/Level 2 or above) - essential.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • A creative, flexible approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
