SEND Teacher PROSPERO TEACHING is recruiting for an experienced SEND Teacher to start ASAP. MATERNITY COVER - 2 TERMS THE SCHOOL: The school is a secondary SEND school based in Wakefield that caters for students with SLD/PMLD/ASC. There are approximately 7 students per class with lots of SEND Teaching Assistants to help and support you and your students. Some students will require physical aids, wheelchairs/ walking frames etc Each student will have an EHC Plan and ILP You will be supported by an excellent Senior Leadership Team! FREE onsite parking! YOU: You will be a qualified Teacher with experience of teaching students with SLD, PMLD and ASC You will be a supportive, encouraging and attentive teacher with the needs of the children at your core! You must be available full time and must be able to commit to the school for the full term! CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location Wakefield Position SEND Teacher Start date ASAP Duration: 2 Terms (Maternity Cover) Contract type - Temporary Full time/part-time Full Time The minimum rate of pay GBP140 - GBP200 per day, dependant upon experience and pay scale Hours - 8:30am - 3:30pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent Previous experience working in a UK school Team Teach is desirable Prospero Teaching can offer this training to you free of charge TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional related references OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
