Experienced Cleaner Needed
Position: Part-Time CleanerLocation: Pontefract (WF8), West YorkshireStart Date: As soon as possible
We are seeking an experienced and reliable cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the premises of a primary school in the Pontefract area. This part-time role is crucial in ensuring our students and staff have a clean and safe learning environment, with the role to start ASAP and running on a long-term basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, and common areas.
- Sanitizing restrooms and replenishing supplies.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Ensuring all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the school administration.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cleaner, preferably in a school or similar environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing obtain this, that we will support with.
Working Hours:
- Part-time hours, Monday to Friday, 2:30pm - 5:30pm.
- Flexibility to work additional hours if required.
