The Motor Trade Client in Wakefield is seeking an experienced MET Technician / Fitter with a basic salary of up to £37,000 and an OTE of approximately £52,000.
The role requires a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications, with an ATA qualification being beneficial.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, with no weekend work and overtime available.
Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, as well as identifying additional repair work and communicating with team members.
Employees enjoy 30 days of annual leave, including bank holidays, with additional loyalty days awarded for service.

Our Motor Trade Client is a Accident Repair Centre based in Wakefield and they require an experienced MET Technician / Fitter to join their busy team of bodyshop productives.Typical duties of a MET Technician for our Client include:

Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles in line with our Client’s high standards
Familiarity with the skills, knowledge and techniques required to be successful in a MET Technician / Fitter role.
To identify additional repair work and liaise with the bodyshop advisor
Communicating effectively with other team members
Carry out quality controls

Your Experience as a MET Technician

Fully qualified MET Technician to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
ATA qualification would be beneficial
Experience as a MET Technician within an accident repair centre
