We are currently looking for Panel Wirer to join a leading, family run, manufacturing business based in Ponteland on a PERMANENT BASIS.

The company design and manufacture electrical distribution panels and associated devices for the street lighting industry, have recently expanded into the Electric Vehicle Charging market and require more members in the production facility.

The Panel Wirer will receive a competitive rate depending on experience.
Overtime is available and other company benefits

Hours of work:

Monday - Thursday - 8:30am - 5pm
Friday - 8.30am - 4pm

Responsibilities of the Panel Wirer:

Fit electrical components and electrical wiring working from schematics and drawings.
Fit, wire, build and assemble power distribution units;
Using hand tools and power tools
Elements of panel testing will be required

Requirements:

Working with Single + Three Phase - essential
Experience working with busbar assemblies - highly desirable
Pervious experience with High Voltage
Previous panel wiring experience- highly desirable
Previous electrical testing experience - highly desirable
Hold 18th Edition - highly desirable
Recognised apprenticeship served - preferred
Previous use and experience with hand tools
You must be able to understand electrical drawings
Attention to detail
Working to schematic drawings
Good communication skills and an understanding of verbal and written English
Dealing with high and low volume wiring assemblies
Excellent attendance levels and attitude
Control panel experience is essential
Fault finding and repair
Time management and multitasking abilities
Creativity skills and problem-solving aptitude
3 phase, Single phase and AC experience required
