- Previous experience as an assembly operative in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
The Electrical Assembly Operative will work Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5pm and Friday 8:30am - 1pm. Must be flexible and willing to work overtime and will receive a pay rate of 11.44 - 12.21 for standard hours, with an uplift for overtime completed.
As an Electrical Assembly Operative, your role and responsibilities will include:
* Assembly of electrical components.
* Cable preparation.
* Stripping/Snipping wires.
* Making wiring connections.
* Cutting and installing plastic trunking.
* Using basic hand tools.
* Ensuring products are to the correct tolerances meeting standards and specifications.
* Strong manual dexterity.
* Experience in electrical assembly desirable.
* Previous experience as an assembly operative within a manufacturing business.
* The ability to understand and interpret technical drawings/schematic drawings/SOP's.
