Hygiene Operative

Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are looking for a Hygiene Operative for a Client in the Pontyclun area.

Permanent position.

Position Overview

To ensure the safe and efficient washes and changeover of production lines post run. To keep second set inventory and 5S of machine change parts up to date and order/replace where necessary. Train Production Operators also to assist with the targeted reduction of washout change times.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

* Wash Out Filler Tanks and ancillary equipment.

* Perform washouts and prepare and build second sets.

* Control Production Wash rooms and support Machinery (Lancer/Ovens etc).

* Housekeeping/5S of the Wash Room areas.

* Control Inventory of change parts - ensuring second sets are available at all times, work with Engineering to arrange reordering of change parts.

* Train Production Operators to support the Wash Out and Change processes.

* Measure Wash Out and Changeover times per machine and target reductions in Changeover timings.

* Part of the Project team to introduce SMED into PC1.

* Commence and maintain the upkeep of the identification of the change parts per line.

* Study Weekly Schedule and look at improvements on reduction of Changeovers.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday/morning and afternoon shifts

The hourly rate is £11.44 plus 20% shift allowance.
